palettes\Creon.pcx error and now Creon suddenly missing

I've been playing TA:K since it was first sold. I've been playing 4v1BB with New Era 5v8 for a year or two with no problems. Just now I ran it up and it started the game into the menus fine. Then suddenly I got a pop-up window with a Red "X" in it and the message "palettes\Creon.pcx", with the only option to click "OK". After a PC Restart and one or two Task Master kills of all the TA:Kingdom processes, it now runs but the Creon race is gone without trace.
I'm running on Windows 7 SP1.
Can anyone help please?

I don't recall how to fix that issue. Try installing New Era v5.9. There may have been some bug in the previous versions.

Thanks. I ended up deleting everything and doing a complete install from the 1v0 CD.
