How do I get a cool icon... like train has pool balls, rachy has a koala...

You can get an avatar next to your forum posts by going into "Profile" up top next to messages. On that page, you will see Information | Preferences | Signature | Attachments | Avatar | Topic(s) being watched. Click "Avatar." Than, upload a photo.
