| Any Brazilians close enough to go to a match? Im not a fan of the sport but I do watch the World Cup. Looks like Brazil is heavy favorite. May throw down a few $ for them to win. | |

| Sure, I watch all football events. Frankly I wouldn't say they're one of the main favorites if we scratch out the fact they're playing on their soil. My pick would be Spain, Germany and Netherlands. Of course I'll be cheering for the French as always, hopefully they'll have more luck than in South Africa. My honorary mentions would be Belgium and Uruguay. They have really good teams since the last couple of years. | |

| My favorites are: 1. Algeria, 2. BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA, 3. COSTA RICA, 4.IRÃ and finally Australia. But I hope my country: BRASILLLLL. And unfortunately I watch the World Cup on television because the nearest stadium from my house is 2000 km. | |

| You're kidding with the favorites right? Though I'd be happy for Bosnia to get far, they've worked hard to get in mundial and their team is not that bad . | |

| The mundial will be missing, Ribery, Falcao, Suarez(probably) and maybe even C. Ronaldo... Not to mention Sweden(Ibrahimović) didn't qualify and Wales(Bale) also. There's gonna be a whole bunch of top players missing | |

| OMFG! I knew the ref's gonna ruin the game. They always do with the native countries... That wasn't a penalty in a million years! Anyways, Croatia was at least an equal opponent and thus proving Brazil isn't that much of a favorite. I'd like to see Brazil play against Spain, Germany etc... They'll probably get raped lol. Lots of luck for them today, too bad, I was cheering for the Croats :/ | |

| Knew it was gonna happen. You can't play the same way for ten years and not except any kind of tiki taka counter tactics. Real Madrid and Bayern M, should be a clear example. The Spaniards are way to stubborn... England is out too, nothing I didn't foresee | |
