| Hello everyone,
just want to know if there's any way to remove the unit cap in TA:K? Can't seem to find one with Google. Especially with New Era mod, the unit cap comes up way too soon and ruins the fun. | |

| No idea about others, but my unit limit is 5,000. Most others I've seen seem to cap only at 500. | |

| You can use TA:K Switcher to have 5k unit limit. But I think you might have been experiencing some units that have unit limit by itself (like dragon or gods, you can make only 1 of them). Not sure though. | |

| Yeah it's about the 500. Thank you for the tip to TA:K Switcher, DeeKay.
Edit 1: And where do I find an addon that removes the unit cap? I can't find it in the basic selection of tools in TA:K Switcher?
Edit 2: Ah by testing ingame I found that it already removed the unit cap.
Edit 3: Hmm the options menu shows unit cap as 5000. But while playing it still comes up and says "Unit cap reached" and I have like <100 units. I doubt the normal AI built 4900 units in the same time? What could be wrong?

| As Deekay said, it might be that the particular unit in production has a specific cap to its build quantity. Like the Divine Dragons, for example. Each race can only have 1 (per race). So Veruna can build just 1 Sea Dragon. But if Zhon captures a Verunan builder, they can then build their own Ancient Dragon as well as a Sea Dragon. | |

| Yeah, the unit itself is limited, something in the New Era mod is limited like "you can make only 10 archers", if you try to make 11, in the 11th it'll say "Unit limit reached", but you'll be able to continue making others units.
Also, don't multiple post like you did, lol, just edit it. | |

| And that is one of the problems because the game will not tell, "you can make only 10 archers". Which would be a nice addition say below the picture or in the picture frame has a max counter: 0/10, 1/10, 2/10, etc. Check out the coder Rime? at TAUniverse, the stuff he is doing to the TAengine is great stuff such as the counter and other things. | |
