| i am thinking of making a map scriped but wanted it to be well finished and original insted of quikly stuck together without atual game play.
i want it to be a suvival type scriped. probably 2 vs 2AI however i will beable to custamise the AI for the map.
apart from some ideas i would like to know what elce can be put in to a map with out needing to include exsta files speratly. | |

| I had an idea for a map script but i dunno how to make them. You control an assassin and gradually pick off key units of the ai without being detected. If you could make a castle type map with units patrolling areas and somehow prevent the ai detecting the assasin easily it could be quite fun. | |

| a scripted map is for multy player. the campain scripts are different and i dont know how to make them. its a nice idea and if u make it multyplayer i will hapaly make it for you or an egsample so you can create one. =p | |

| I made an RPG map once. You start at the bottom (P1 fire mage P2 blade demon) and use your micro management skills to navigate through the "dungeon." Was pretty cool but I never finished the final touches. |

perhaps it could be a competition to see whos assasin can kill the most ai units within a time limit, different/rarer units give different points. death results in a timed respawn. I have no idea how this could be made, also is there away for randomising the appearance of units so each time the map is played the units aren't in the same place. As hate says this is a little like an rpg, something I know a few tak players would like | |

| hey. how about LOTR type? sorta like Helms deep. where there is an unmanagable amount of zombies. and u have units apears slowly similar to Increasing strength? and u can build only build realistic type of units like archers swordsman crusaders ect. and not b able to build ones with magic like mage archers acos ect. make it so u have to strategicly place units and use flanking manuvers or u would b destroyed
not just a build 30 towers and sit and wait.
and make it only over when u force enemy back and u kill their "commander" | |

| great idea, but guess could use goblins and ogres more real to the fight Helms deep was my second favorite battle in LOTR the first one its the attack of rohan knights in the plain of minas tirith, after that i just played with aramon and make horsemans and knights good times hehe | |

| I made a script where everyone started off with an Elsin monarch and zombies spawned. I accidentally created an infinite loop with the script so zombies poured in from all directions unlimitedly until you were dead. Then sometime last year I recreated the map, and modded it, so that the zombies were as fast as knights with the strength of trebs. Needless to say you didn't last long. And if you created a wall to keep them out, unlimited amounts of black dragons spawned and killed yoU! | |

| there are two ways of getting units thats cool...
1) send a "mission unit" to an area to get units. there being more than one area thus the player choses the units gaind.
2) insted of loadstons giving mana they create units so the player chooses what points to defend to get addianal units.
or a combanation... | |

| this is a map i make earlier. http://www.filefront.com/15795627/bace%20over%20the%20two%20briges%20v3.kmp this map uses both ideas. unfortunaly u will need a second comp or a second player to try it. however the scripting isent that complicated to you could use the cartogritha to see it. edit: its hard to exsplain with out an egsample | |

yeah, an tower defense kind of map would be really awesome. like after u kill a type of units,stronger ones spawn and in the end u have to kill avatar or something. | |

| Does anyone still have axl's or vit's tower defense maps tho? Axl also made a kick "***" fun mon battle script once... Where you can get a swordsman and you walk him to the area of the race you want, excluding zhon. Then you spawn with that mon in a "cliffed in arena." And when u die, you respawn a swordsman, where u can again walk to the race you want to choose to mon battle. When you kill a monarch you were given points. It was so small, you didnt really have time to make an enclave.
But our knowledge today, we can mod it so you dont even get an enclave.... | |

| i should have the tower defence map (the 3 player one) it was a cool one and is also why i am not billding a tower defence cos it already egsits. if the mon battal hasent suvived then it would be easy to quikly create. | |

| I just made a script map, its called "the siege of carathan"
The Towns civilians have been evacuated less than an hour ago, the ships they left on have returned with a pitifuly small amount of troops. You must defend carathan.
1. Build Defenses 2. Scout out the enemy 3. Defend Seige 4. Reinforcements will arive in 30 Mins, and Army from Nearby City, ordered by Kirrena herself 5. If commanders are killed the Army Will scurry away like frightened mice, if they are not killed.... then Doom Awaits Carathan..... | |

| I started on the Assassin map ace spoke of. But its kinda boring... Dunno what to do to spice it up.
You start off with an Assassin. There are 4 of you. You are a secret spy working for Lokken, to kill Emen The Messenger. If you can't kill him by time is up you can win by having the most points. But it still says defeat because you didnt meet your goal.
If you assassin dies, he gets an automatic respawn. If you kill deer/cows/farmers/watch towers/strongholds you get unit bonuses. Such as firespouts, sky knights, weather witches, rictuses, ghost ships and a dark priest. If any of them die, they also get automatically respawned.
I have a few bugs to work out with the unit bonus' respawning, and trying to keep Emen the Messenger in the castle. I know there is a way to make units patrol in a certain area. I'm just having trouble doing it. Anyways... its a very fortified castle. And very hard to penetrate. You get killed alot, and I was told it is boring so far.
What can I do to spice it up?
CaptSavage reccomended. Start with Lokken. 0 Respawns. Kill stuff. LOL | |

| as a segesten you could have the castle under sege by an ai. evry so often the ai will get some fire sprouts and blaid demons that will (if the ai has no billdings) atack the castle, helping the player to sneek past the defenses. | |

| As of now there is a 6th ai who has buildings and mana that is uses to attack the castle ai... sometimes killing emen. | |
