Weekly Multiplayer Mission - 29th of December - Tarosian Escape Empty
PostSubject: Weekly Multiplayer Mission - 29th of December - Tarosian Escape   Weekly Multiplayer Mission - 29th of December - Tarosian Escape EmptySat Dec 29, 2012 3:49 am

Another weekly co-op mission made for your entertainment. This is even more mission-like than the previous ones, with ambushes and other stuff to keep your interest.

Lore:
Three legions of Aramon soldiers went deep in the land of Taros to participate in a battle in which they lost. Now, with their remaining soldiers, they have to travel the dangerous mountain paths and return back to the sea, where they have to eradicate the Tarosian forces in order to allow the Ark to come and take them back home.

Weekly Multiplayer Mission - 29th of December - Tarosian Escape TAK-TarosianEscape

Player 1,2 & 3 are Human (or AI) allies who battle against player 4 (it must be controlled by AI).
* Every player must survive until the end.
* Destroy the Tarosian Lodestones. After that, Mage Builders will arive to aid you.
* Destroy all enemy Cabals and Caged Deamons to allow the Ark to arrive.
* Beware of Tarosian ambushes.

Here are the 3 versions:

*Medium: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/61724283/ARTHAN%27s%20Tarosian%20Escape%20%28Medium%29.kmp

Thanks for your nice motivating words! Very Happy

Well, Ark has great transporting range and having a Roc or Aerial Jug coming to save you is a little strange. After all, the Ark shows that help has arrived and the soldiers are going to be rescued; the rest are not important. Wink
study
Manual-wise, Ghosts Ships were flying undead vessels commanded by an undead crew. Well, I supposed the Ghost Ship's crew was ordered to do another job somewhere else by the Necromancer of Taros, so they left their vessels grounded within that yard. That's why you was able to steal them.

Game-wise, I had you stole Ghost Ships from Taros in order to be able to transfer your Mage Builder(s) near the empty Sacred Stones without taking the lllllloooonnnnnggggg route on the mountain's passage. Smile

I will keep up the good work! Razz

Actually, I won't make any more multi-missions, sorry. It just doesn't worth the effort. I hoped that multi-scripts (due to their completely different game-style and game experience they offer) would keep present players from leaving and bring old players back. However, only 2-3 people give a \"****\" about my scripts; if you guys really like complex-climatic-serious scripts, then you would played my scripts and you would know about them. However, quite the opposite is happening; I have played the 165765th version of Troll attack tower-defense script that is almost the same thing again and again and I can't see a script of mine played if I am not the host. And non-active players don't even care to give TAK a second chance... Anyway, I will keep playing PvP or silly TowerDefense from now on...

I assume people don't always bother to download from sites, like me. I downloaded and played once with OMW though

Btw I played 3v3s with non-active Rachy yesterday

LOL Arthan don't get bored... Script Orc Attack is Hard and funny (my opnion). But, I see nobody playing it anymore...

Your scripts are very good, it sounds like a new campaign. Wink
Maybe you should continue and make a history (not a single-map with its story). I mean, make a map, and your next map will continue the map that you made before, making it a nice history (people when play the first map, are going to want the next map to see what happens). =)

Well, I don't know, do whatever you want... That's my opnion. xD

Arthan, I agree with manolo on this one. It would be awesom to make campaigns for TA:K. Just continue it on the next mission. Very Happy and if it is good enough it could be in the UTAK download and included as a campaign

Still, no more than 4-5 people care about my scripts. If more positive feedback comes in the future, I am probably going to make at least 5 campaigns (one for each race) with at least 10 missions for each one.
But not nowdays; I am going to post my last New Year's Eve mission and then I will wait for the community to bring back a few more people and then I will start make them. I have exams these days anyway...
