Mav, there are over 600 people interested enough in tak to sign up in a forum about it, can you mass email everyone? Even if only 10% come back that would still be a nice population boost.

Who's is the facebook page with 741 likes for TA:K?? Surely we can do something with that, it's easy enough to do a group message on there to organise a reunion :/ xx

The facebook page is owned by snail, but since he hasn't been around, I am the administrator.
I've posted links about forums, downloads, and where to play tak already. I could send them a global message about tak, but the thing about the reunion is that you need a place or a lobby. Right now, we do not have one. I also have reached my limit of 50 friends during this past week, and I keep seeing new players logging in, and there is no way to find out who else is a tak player in GR's lobby. Just imagine, what it would be to do party without a house, LOL. Therefore, we need a house first before we invite the people to the party.

You can add more than 50 paying a bit.

A browser chat wouldn't be bad, don't really need to be in this site.

also if every new player on TA:K is automatically added on to friends lists, (i had add only 3 guys(2 deleted as now) from SC lol)
BTW on gold account its possible to make custom chat on gameranger, BUT i don't know if its open for everyone or just only for other gold ones, and probably that chat exists as long as you are log on gameranger (i suppose that)

BTW2 only for me forum change little "desing" (i mean that "fast" window for answer is now white)?
Edit also "regular post/topic" maker is white xD

Edit2 gold accounts on GR can create chat rooms, but (that's how i understand) only silver one can join that custom chats

TA:K is finding more life these days.  Maybe not at the moment (hence, I'm posting on the forum), but I'm finding plenty of people playing these days.  Keep Networking!

Total Annihilation: Kingdoms is played online in www.gameranger.com which is a light client that requires no ports or firewall opening, it also doesn't require your game folder (and kingdoms.exe) to be in its default location, allowing you to play TA:K anywhere, even from a pendrive. The client also supports 3rd party races and mods. The New Era Mod has been supported by several players this year and has been played online as well.

And by the way Sage, can you change the news on the portal? The latest new is "Tak: The New Era 3.31 has been released!!!" of 2010. Maybe a 2013 giving instructions for current online play, switcher, new era, mods, etc.

And please put a link near the top of the first page for the complete download of TA:K and patches because I'm forever asking people for the link for new players  Also I think that it needs to be simple because people who have left for some time probably don't have much time on their hands, with kids and wives and jobs so they would probably get a bit overwhelmed with all of the clan wars and stuff. So maybe just say that there are quite a lot of people on nowadays and old players have come back and would be nice to see some more of the old faces for some games if they can spare an hour a week for a couple. XX

And Rachy I'd be shocked to find any new player in TAK, of course we are talking about "old" people... but yea I agree that it is hard to have interest receiving a huge message. The message for the 700 is via PM or e-mail? if it's PM you can use a spoiler for "more information", if e-mail then send a simple e-mail first, and a subsequent PM for mre info
