Mouse click "No Bong" patch.

Does anyone know where I can get the "no bong" sound patch so that I don't get a "bong" sound everytime I click the mouse with a Unit selected please? It was a genuine Cavedog release early on in the game's history but I can't seem to find it anywhere now, and the click/bong is driving me crazy.

I guess that's it... It comes with TA:K Switcher and you need it to "emule" the click addon.
Or, put it in your TA:K directory and remove kingdoms.key file.

It's a .hpi file? And I don't have Switcher installed or a .key file.

Hmm, yes .hpi...

.hpi file is like a .rar file with some files in it, and TA:K knows how to use them... Well I don't know how to explain. :S

If you want to see what's in you will need HPI Viewer. But, surely, you won't see a .exe file there lol! (just files that you don't know what they mean)
I recommend you to use TA:K Switcher, it already comes with these Addons...

It's okay, I actually found a copy of the old Cavedog website which I remembered from all those years ago and the explanation is on there ht-tp:/-/ww-w.tauniverse.com/cave-dog-mirror/ta-kingdoms/patch.html such a shame the links don't still work.

Anyway I'm sorted and no "bong" any more.

Hmm, No, I'm not, TA:K's musics are epic... And I can't listen to them.

There is only 1 soundtrack for all of ingame play. the cutscenes in missions have different music.

Aramon soundtrack isn't the same of Veruna one... I don't know if the tracks continue playing the whole game, I can't confirm this lol! Well, there are about 5 tracks each race?! If 1 track continues playing the whole game... The other tracks should be played in next games. =)

There is no difference. I could probably sing the whole song start to finish with how much i have heard it. it is the same thing

Go to your TA:K Directory and open Music folder (C:\Cavedog\Kingdoms\Music), there are lots of tracks there of the game... The musics aren't the same thing...

even Tak DEMO got compatible with music just make file Cavedog/?Kingdoms demo?(or whatever it have name)/music
and copy music from full version to demo

ahh i played demo TAK for some 5 years and sometimes i come back for this more rush time*

*on full version AI seems stupid (or make less danger in short time) cause it make many shits (towers strongholds etc) in demo there are no many units and AI got little faster expand (but still make tons of useless towers but only ?tier1? tower)

demo TAK also is compatibile with maps but this dont have many textures

(anyway i think cavedog first made full version then they remove some files and make demo without big changes in .exe files)

what a moron make that AI specialy first building and weird limit (7 lodestone 2 cabals 2 abyss 2 temples tons of caged demons and half of tons mage towers probably big limit but still limit of divine lodestone)
who the hell make 1-3 towers before barracks or mana? (Ai only )
