Garrisoning/Transporting units via buildings and CB off or on? Empty
PostSubject: Garrisoning/Transporting units via buildings and CB off or on?   Garrisoning/Transporting units via buildings and CB off or on? EmptyMon Sep 02, 2013 7:40 am

I would like to make a few questions about New Era gameplay.
First of all, I would like to ask if anyone uses the transporting (garrisoning) mechanic of many New Era buildings in order to hide his/her units and decieve the opponent, or even transporting/teleporting them at small distances.
Also, is there any difference between CB ON and CB OFF in New Era?
Thanks! Very Happy

Good. This saves me from trouble with the New Era campaigns I am making. Thanks for answering. Smile

So what are the ideas towards the NewEra Campaign?

Actually, due to New Era's playstyle, I was thinking of having a more TA-like approach.
Instead of a single, side-switching campaing, I was thinking of 5 campaigns, one for each kingdom (New Era Aramon Campaign, New Era Veruna Campaign, New Era Taros Campaing, New Era Zhon Campaing, New Era Creon Campaign). The goal of each campaign is going to be quite straightforward; conquer the whole of Darien by totally annihilating any opposition.

Each campaign will be consisted of 25 missions. According to the race you play, the events are going to unfold in a totally different way. As an example, in the first missions of Aramon campaign the nation of Veruna is an ally; however, after a series of events, Kirenna betrays Elsin and allies with Sage (she doesn't see that move of hers as a betrayal, but Elsin feels betrayed) and Veruna becomes a hostile nation for the Aramonian campaign.

In the final mission, the rest of the kingdoms are going to band together against you and your megalomania to conquer Darien, no matter the side you play in, and you have to fight all the other 4 monarchs by yourself.

In each mission, at least a single New Era (non-OTAK) unit will be introduced and explained (for example, in the first Creon mission you will have access to Mobile Crossbow, while in the second one you will learn about Buzz and Hedgehog).

That's all, for now...
