From Long ago

Once a long time ago, there was a group of testers called the Yarddogs. Two of them went on to support TA:K and developed characterizations to facilitate email support and attempts at problem solving. I wonder if anyone else remembers them.

From Professor Offen Fixet, and his assistant Iken Breakit to the online Yarddog personas of Zarathos, and (I think) Kinshinka, to the company initiated online meta game Darien Crusades, fond memories.

Does the Crusades component still function with the current mods? That would be something to try out if I can find my old disks of the game.

Also I can hardly believe that this game still has a core of players/followers. I don't think anyone at Cavedog Entertainment expected this level of longevity.

It's good to see someone from the Yarddogs time, though I have never heard of them before. xP

Yes, we still use the Crusades and we have many players that still play the game at GameRanger. Come and meet us there! You must have a lot of knowledge to share with us.
