| Why does Veruna feel so much stronger than Aramon?? I know this is basically Early game vs Late game discussion but what exactly sets these 2 races apart?? | |

| It's really easy for Veruna to gain map control. There are a lot of reasons, but here are the main four I can come up with.
1. Enclaves build faster than Barracks, but close to 200 more mana in cost. 2. Warriors build faster than Swordsmen 3. Warriors move faster than Swordsmen 4. Verunan catapults have more range than Aramon catapults.
As for Veruna tier one being stronger than Aramons, it depends on the time. I always found Swordsmen to be one of the best cannon fodder type units mid to late game, second only to zombies. Executioners and Warriors are just too fragile, and Trolls can't be set to a rally point.
Perhaps the biggest downside to Veruna tier one is the large investment it takes to build multiple Enclaves, making it difficult to find enough mana to construct a Citadel. Aramon seems to have easier transition to the higher tiers.

| Warrior is slightly cheaper, faster to build and faster to move (and attacks slightly stronger) https://takingdoms.herokuapp.com/db/tools/comp?a=warrior&b=swordsman#a0b0 Priestess is also quite cheaper than mage builder and moves just a tad bit faster https://takingdoms.herokuapp.com/db/tools/comp?a=priestess&b=magebuilder | |

| Aramon Archers are also slower to build and more expensive than Crossbowmen - but they have longer range and more DPS. https://takingdoms.herokuapp.com/db/tools/comp?a=crossbowman&b=archer#a0b0
Aramon T1 seems weaker than I remember, though its T2 is still extremely powerful.

| Hi guys. Been lurking for a week or so. (Working on a board game based off of TA:K)
I always thought of TA:K races in the following difficulty. Easy to Hard(mastering might be a different list)
Veruna -> Aramon -> Taros -> Zhon -> Creon
Please tell me if you agree/disagree.

| I agree with the 1st 3, I think creon and zhon could be reversed. and this board game sounds sick, please share whenever you complete it! | |

| I made a prototype replica to mimic TA:K about 4 years ago and with friends we tested it out. Unfortunately it was very drawn out, after playing for 6 hours(and honestly having a blast) we decided to stop playing for the day and hit up a bunch of wineries. We tried it only once since then and it again took a long time, like 3 hours with 2 people. There were many balancing issues and it was a mess, but it was fun. I remember Aramon's war galleys being an issue. My friend ended up winning by amassing war galleys and following suit with trebs and cannoneers. Sound familiar?
It's been a long time since I had extra free time to spend on such a project but my life settled down a little bit to allow time to work on this. Combat is now much quicker and allows units to miss or not always kill their target. Dice rolls allow chance, instead of my old system. My current delima is making pieces per the units. I want to add numbers to the images as well but since it's a prototype I might settle for paper that's color coded. Next time I feel like I have something half decent I will post pictures but that won't be for weeks if not months from now.

probably Aramon in every universe will have that problem xD "NERF DA TREB" Spagg you make that website? https://takingdoms.herokuapp.com nice unit comparator btw if you have too much time, and don't have idea what you can add to this website. You can add "DPS" in comparator (damage/reload time) amazing thing finally i don't have to use .txt files to compare something

Sorry didn't see your message yeah I now added "DPS" and fixed what is considered "green" and what is "red". Now bad stats (build time, build cost, reload time) have their color inverted so the smaller is the better (the smaller cost the better etc)
