As an idea originated by the Imperial Equalist Arthan, Commander of the IMPs, I think it is the right place to have this discussion.

i think there is no way to block hax, i just don't know it
1.if you gonna put your own stats for units in map file, they gonna have something 70% to load from map (example marswars.kmp not always work)
2.if you gonna make some external "mod" (like new era or something) there is easy way to change it

BTW how Arthan want to change units by scripts? its not possible in any old game which i know

OMW, what Arthan probably means is modifying the maps not via script but via modding the map files.
If you put modified game files readable by tak (hpi ufos guis etc) and put it in it's respective folder, and pack it inside a .kmp map, the map's files will override the original tak files.

You can do the same thing by creating new .hpi files and throwing at your tak folder and deleting a file that checks you files. 

If we create maps that contains all original files it will probably override the cheat files. The map will get a big size however..

I'll try it later even tho I personally didnt see (or notice) anyone cheating these months, last time I played a cheater was Thyago and Rock last year. But if it solves a small group's complaints, then why not? Smile Btw Arthan is a genius

And yeah Sage needs to fix this box, I'm using notepad too

as i say before it works only in some 70% cases, not always
(example marswars map)

i had also one time weird problem that stats from one of my changed maps go to other one
